Is Your Christmas list based on the Color of your Skin?

We want to know? Is your Christmas wish list based on the color of your skin?

As an editor, I'm always looking for different news, tips and ideas for a story. After reading this story, I had to reevaluate the way I shop, mentally. After thinking of all the things on my wish list, I had to say there wasn't anything on the list that would reveal the color of my skin, only my character. Which I think most Christmas gifts should be about. Apparently, that's not something the New York Times agree with. Check out this article from Yahoo News revealing their "Of Color/Stylish Gifts!" How do you feel about a well known media source creating a list specific to certain races, genders, sexes, etc? Christmas is about giving and receiving and I would find it insulting to receive a gift from anyone based on my race as opposed to my characteristics. Hopefully, no one was silly enough to take the list seriously. Not to take away from the items suggested, as they would make great gifts! But the gifts are great for everyone, not just people of color.
