Although, her teenage crew is a lot less loyal than her peeps in New York (S&TC) as an adult. Carrie still handles herself well enough to make it through senior year. However, there were times, I wanted to knock some sense into her when it came to some of her relationships (friends, family, guys). She was really naive, like we all were at that age, but figured things out and made them work for her.
Just as in Sex & The City
, CB reavealed her originality and individuality. The life experiences she faced as a teen somewhat prepared her for New York. Bushnell really tapped into the mind of teens in the 80's. This book has it all. Style, curiousity, betrayal, defiance and more. It's a must have for all Carrie Bradshaw
